Inertial Drift Sunset Prologue Out Now On Steam

Inertial Drift Sunset Prologue

In the build-up to the release of Inertial Drift, a playable demo is now available on Steam titled Inertial Drift Sunset Prologue.

I’m hoping to cover this title on my console site as it’s pretty stoked about the gameplay and visual style – a twin-stick drifter? Undoubtedly, a ‘yes please’. So why all this commotion on this site?

Inertial Drift Sunset Prologue is now available for the free on Steam.

With a choice of two tracks to play from; Lakeside Loop and Sunset Sea Circuit, players get to race 1-on-1 in this arcade drifting from PQube and Level 91 Entertainment.

The cars available are:

  • Coda Gecko – Coda’s most popular model, the Gecko strokes a balance between speed and control. It’s great all-round performance and predictable handling make it perfect for racers looking to hone their skills.
  • HPE Dragon – Intimidating to drive and to race, what HPE’s high-performance Dragon lacks in subtlety and manoeuvrability, it more than makes up for it in raw power and top speed.

…and the tracks:

  • Lakeside Loop – The long, sweeping bends of the lakeside are the perfect place to learn your craft as you race around the water’s edge.
  • Sunset Sea Circuit – A breathtaking neon sunset provides the backdrop for this technically demanding track.

It seems like a long way off, but Intertial Drift will be out on the 7th of August for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam.

This really does look fantastic, and you can see for yourself in the new Inertial Drift Sunset Prologue trailer:

The full game will be out on August 7th for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC/Steam.
